Associate Professor

Tonći Modrić

For the past decade, his primary interest has been related to numerical modeling and calculation of the electric and magnetic fields of substation and power lines, development of advanced models for the interpretation of geoelectrical soil sounding, and optimization model for energy storage operation in a market-oriented power system. Currently, he also deals with the analysis of electromagnetic transients in power systems with a large share of renewable energy sources (RES) using the finite element technique.
As a chartered electrical engineer, he is registered at the Croatian Chamber of Electrical Engineers and he is the author of more than 200 projects of substations, high-voltage cables and photovoltaic power stations.
His hobbies include basketball and music.
