Full Professor

Ivica Jurić-Grgić

His research so far has focused on analyzing and numerically modeling electromagnetic transients in power systems, specifically the development of advanced numerical models for calculating electromagnetic transients in multi-conductor transmission lines and algorithms for numerical analysis of transient stability in power systems based on the finite element method.
Today, he works on improving numerical algorithms for the analysis of angular, voltage, and frequency stability in advanced power systems with a high share of renewable energy sources (RES). Additionally, he focuses on enhancing existing numerical models of power system components for harmonic and transient analysis of grounding systems and, more generally, the analysis of transient phenomena in advanced power systems.
